Rebranding a news fact checking platform 

Newschecker is a multilingual fact checking initiative from NC Media Networks. A signatory to the International Fact Checking Network’s Code of Principles, Newschecker conducts its operations in 9 Indian languages, English, Nepali and Bangladeshi Bangla. Newschecker aims to Limit the spread of misinformation and fake news, hold those in power to account, plug information vacuums and ensure relevant and meaningful data is easily accessible.

The aim was to create a new brand identity to establish Newschecker as India’s leader in debunking fake news and misinformation. The new identity is young, modern and relevant to todays audience.

 

Through various rounds of ideation, brainstorming and iterations, we developed a dyamnic and simple identity that sets Newschecker apart from it's competitors.
